
Kelsey joined Disability Rights Washington in 2025 after graduating from law school. Prior to joining DRW, she served as the Project Director of Jail Services at Brooklyn Defender Services in New York, where she advocated for an end to solitary confinement in New York state prisons and for the rights and humane treatment of people incarcerated in NYC jails.
Kelsey shares: “I am grateful to join Disability Rights Washington because of its commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of people with disabilities. I am passionate about advocacy and systems change, and I am honored to contribute to work that creates meaningful impact in the community.”
