Colleen Caffrey
Director of Rights Investigation & Accountability Program

Colleen Caffrey joined Disability Rights Washington in May, 2020. They previously worked in administrative and financial management roles for the Statewide Independent Living Council of Georgia and other non-profit organizations. They are excited to return to the disability rights community as part of DRW’s Rights Investigation and Accountability team.

Colleen is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. They have worked as a music educator, teaching pre-schoolers and retirees to drum. They are a passionate volunteer with the Girls Rock Camp network, empowering girls, women, trans and gender-expansive people through creative self-expression and collaboration. Colleen recently relocated to Olympia where they enjoy forest hikes with their wife, visits to the Farmers Market, and improvisational cooking.
