Heidi Sadri
Public Policy & Civic Engagement Specialist

Heidi joins DRW with eight years of youth justice advocacy experience focused at the intersection of disability and criminalization. She has worked in the legal aid space at TeamChild and in the public sector as policy staff to Washington State’s primary juvenile justice advisory body, where she led policy research and legislative strategy. She is also actively engaged in Iranian American community organizing. Her background includes experience navigating Washington’s legislative process as well as strengths in coalition building, facilitation, and training. Heidi is passionate about promoting dignity and self-determination for all people. In her free time, Heidi enjoys live music, exploring the city, fancy pastries, crafting, and snuggling with her two perfect cats.
