Wallace (Wally) Tablit
Executive Director

Wally joined DRW in November of 2025 as the Executive Director. Wally brings nearly thirty years of leadership experience in the disability rights and justice movements, with a passion and commitment for creating an equitable world for people of all identities and lived experiences. He brings his lived experiences of disability with multiple intersecting identities to bring positive changes to communities across the Pacific Northwest as well as on the national stage and is a leading expert in competitive and integrated employment. Wally also brings extensive experience in organizational development, leadership, talent management, and person-centered planning. Prior to joining DRW, Wally served as Chief Mission and Diversity Officer with Atwork; Senior Director of Policy, Leadership, and Workforce Development at RespectAbility (now DisabilityBelongs); President of the WA chapter of the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE) and Chief Disability Inclusion Officer at Relay Resources. Earlier in his career, Wally held leadership roles in agencies working to support individuals in recovery and with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Wally is excited to build from the strengths of DRW, centering the voices of people with disabilities, and building partnerships that create positive impact in our communities.
