Disability Rights Washington’s (DRW) Long-Term Care Resident Rights (LTCRR) Program provides legal information, advice, and representation to people on Medicaid who are threatened with discharge or transfer from community-based long term care facilities, including Adult Family Homes (AFHs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), and Enhanced Services Facilities (ESFs).

The statewide LTCRR intake line can be reached at (888) 437-0017. Calls are answered Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Or callers can leave a voicemail message anytime for a call back within one business day. New! Long-Term Care Resident Rights program

December 19, 2025On January 5, 2026, DRW opens its statewide Long-Term Care Resident Rights (LTCRR) Intake Line.  This new program, which is funded through the Washington State Office of Civil Legal Aid (OCLA), provides legal information, advice, and representation to people on Medicaid who are threatened with discharge or transfer from community-based long-term care facilities.
